Meet Ally Ferguson, a high school educator with 19 years of experience who has dedicated over a decade to seamlessly integrating game elements into the curriculum, transforming traditional learning environments into engaging and dynamic spaces. Ally has presented at various education conferences, sharing insights on effective gamification in the classroom. With a passion for incorporating game-based strategies into teaching, Ally has demonstrated a profound understanding of how gaming principles can enhance student learning and motivation. 

 

Ally founded Ally Z Training with the mission of helping teachers create a positive and effective learning environment for their students. Through better engagement, teachers can increase or regain their passion for teaching. Ally has presented at numerous conferences for her Engage with Play program and has recently been certified by the Center for Teacher Effectiveness to present the Time to Teach program.

 

Along with teaching, Ally also coaches Esports, runs a casual game club, and sponsors the junior class at her high school. She is also a wife and a mother to a wonderful 6-year-old boy.
